Lawrence Artus is a licensed clinical psychotherapist and licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in individual, couples and family psychotherapy, maintaining a private practice in Fort Lauderdale and Hollywood, Florida.
With over twenty years experience as a clinician, and a graduate of West Virginia University specializing in cognitive,solution-focused therapy, he is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients. Among his areas of expertise are depression, anxiety/panic disorders, phobias and couples therapy. In addition, Lawrence has presented at National conferences and to general audiences on topics ranging from Strategic eclectic therapy, school phobia and has designed extensively for specialized school programs. His treatment approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients resolve current problems and long-standing patterns. He incorporates a blend of conventional and alternative approaches, drawing upon a variety of styles and techniques to incorporate what will be most helpful for each client.
